Unfortunately John had to leave sooner or later, so after a hungry mob of animation students (me being one of them) demanded pictures and signatures he set off into the sunset and for the wesht of the country.

Academy award winner, John Canemaker, ( http://homepages.nyu.edu/~jc7/ ) filmmaker, writer, animation historian, teacher and artist dropped into the college for the last two weeks and lectured. Nice guy. So that has been the highlight of the academic year so far. While in his lectures I doodled some charicatures of John. He gradually develops into a tortoise. Never showed him the drawings. I wonder if would he have been insulted.. Have a gander.

Well my Production manual is due tomorow and its been hell to cobble together something worth presenting. I'm exhausted and sick with a cold but all thats left is to get it bound. For your ocular pleasure I'm adding a couple of images from the book.
